Being a responsible adult can be expensive. Taking care of the household expenses by buying things our families need is something we know and expect to pay for monthly. However, have you ever noticed that there is a reason to spend extra cash every month?

Don’t believe me? Check this out:

  • January – New Year’s Celebration
  • February – Valentine’s Day
  • March – Mardi Gras
  • April – Easter Sunday / Spring Break
  • May – Mother’s Day / Memorial Day
  • June – Father’s Day / Graduations
  • July – Independence Day / Summer Vacations
  • August – Back To School Shopping
  • September – Labor Day
  • October – Halloween
  • November – Thanksgiving Day
  • December – Christmas

Since we are going to spend money on things we need and want anyway, why not make some extra cash doing it.

Madam Money’s Financial Fave: Rakuten, formerly Ebates

Rakuten, formerly Ebates, is one of my Financial Faves because they pay me to shop at stores I usually use.  Since I do most of my shopping and travel booking online, I use Rakuten to get Cash Back, which saves me money.

How do I get cash Back from Rakuten?

Stores pay Rakuten a commission for sending customers to shop at their websites. Rakuten then splits that commission with you, in the form of Cash Back.

Does it cost anything to get started?

NO. It is FREE to sign up. You can use the app or add a plugin to your browser so that Rakuten can alert you to exclusive deals and coupons at stores you visit online.

How do I get started?

It is super simple! Just click here to sign up for FREE and get a $10 Welcome Bonus on me.

Rakuten has 2500+ stores, including Wal-Mart, Macy’s, eBay, and Amazon. So, if you love shopping, like me, let’s get cash Back to shop and save more money!
