The U.S. Postal Service has now raised stamp prices twice this year. Most recently, the cost of a first-class Forever stamp went up 5 cents, from 68 to 73 cents. But that’s not the only hike 2024 has seen — and it’s certainly not the first one since the Postal Service’s inception. So how do postage costs when you were born stack up to costs today?
