For many people, the pandemic felt financially disastrous — and while that suffering was real, new federal data shows some more positive parts of the picture. The Federal Reserve releases an analysis of family income and credit every three years, known as the Survey of Consumer Finances. The newest version, which accounts for inflation, covers a period spanning from 2019 to 2022.
