Ah, the 1980s. Big hair, tight jeans and that one must-have accessory — the Swatch Watch. For Gen-Xers like me, Swatch was the epitome of cool. Unlike our fathers’ watches, these were irreverent, modern and fun. Created to breathe new life into the struggling Swiss timepiece industry, “Swatch” is a mash-up of the words “secondary watch” — although some say it’s also a shortened version of “Swiss…
