Who could use some extra money?
The Pandemic of 2020 produced financial challenges, like losing jobs, reduced working hours, or employer shutdowns. Many people had to find other ways to literally “bring home the bacon!”
And some people are looking for ways to stack more cash for those unexpected or expected emergencies and opportunities or accelerate reaching their financial goals.
But this can seem like a challenge with quarantine and social distancing requirements.
Whether you need to fill in your financial gaps or create multiple income streams…
Here are 5 ways to make extra money online
Freelancing
Freelancing is one of the most preferred virtual money-making options. If you have expertise in any skills and you are looking to earn more cash, try freelancing. Offer your skills and get paid for your work. You choose your hours, and you are in control of how much you want to work.
Freelancing is a good option if you want freedom and flexibility while working. Freelancing is also fit for those who want to achieve a higher degree of employment in isolated communities. Skills like writing, editing, translation, web support, creative assistance, and virtual assistance are higher freelancing opportunities.
Virtual freelancing jobs are local and global. You can find freelancing jobs independently through your contacts and connections, or you can also find them online. Websites like Fiverr, Freelancer, and Upwork are simple to get started, get found by prospects, and get paid. Build a good reputation with good customer reviews and attract more customers.
Online survey
If you are trying to make some extra money in your spare time, online Surveys are another popular option.
Surveyors sometimes require specific attributes like sex, gender, spending habits, income level, etc. However, some companies look for diverse audiences to complete their surveys, so keep your eyes open for survey opportunities.
Beware of survey scammers. Be wary of survey sites that required you to pay to access their survey lists.
Before getting involved with any survey, check their terms and conditions, reviews, forums, and faqs. Look for survey sites with good ratings and reviews.
Online trading
Online trading is buying and selling in the stock market using internet-based online trading platforms. Expert Stock Traders like Teri Ijeoma Tela Holcomb, and Kevin Matthews II offer courses to teach you how to trade online to make extra cash.
If you are new to investing, it can be scary at first, but investing in self-paced online classes, like Teri’s Trade to Travel, Tela’s Trade Your 9 To 5®, and Kevin’s StockStarter Masterclass, will teach you what you need to know to get started.
Publish an eBook on Kindle
If you love writing, try writing eBooks. Amazon lets anyone publish an eBook and make money. Amazon is the global selling machine. If your book gets some visibility and sales, you can make a fair amount of money by writing and selling eBooks.
You can write fiction or non-fiction books. Make the title attractive and catchy, like “Financial Fornication.” With a stunning book cover created via Canva (a free online graphic designing tool), you can attract people to buy your book. Don’t get hung up on how many pages or words your eBook has. eBooks are selling with less than five pages.
Sell stuff online
“One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.” Try selling some of your old clothes, furniture, gadgets, etc. you don’t need or use anymore. You’d be surprised at what people will buy. So, if you have brand names or vintage retro items, they may be a hot seller. Websites and apps like eBay or Poshmark are examples of where you can start selling your pre-loved items.
